Links: It is real or a spoof
Have a link but don't know where it's going to take you. This video will show you how to read a link and double check before clicking. Don't be caught at a spoof site stealing your information or placing a virus on your computer.
In any Mozilla product all you have to do is hover your mouse over the link and in the bottom left hand area of your window the actual link address will appear.
How do you read a link?
http://uneedstuff.com/schedule
Go to the first / after the // and read to the left past one . in the above link the actual site address is uneedstuff.com
http://foobar.xyz.uneedstuff.com.peanut.foo.fake/uneedstuff.com
In the above fake link the actual address is foo.fake not a real address at all.
Take a look and listen at the video to see in real life, how Firefox and Thunderbird can help you weed out the fakes.
