Terms & Conditions
effective January, 1st, 2010
There are two options for ordering service hours; non-retained hours, and retained hours. All time tracked is actual time worked, rounded up to the nearest quarter hour when final or monthly invoices are created.
Non-Retained Hours
You can order any number of hours at any time. The hourly rate is $30.00. You have 45 days to use the ordered time. No portion of the ordered hours are refundable. Any time remaining after the 45 days is forfeit*. A minimum of one (1) hour must be ordered. Any time over the hour(s) ordered will be invoiced (rounded up to the nearest quarter hour), at the end of the day they are worked, due on receipt. When hours ordered have been worked, or jobs are complete, we will send you a final invoice. No additional work will be performed until a new order is made.
Monthly Retainer
You can retain our services for a minimum of 2 months at a discounted rate of $20.00 per hour. Retained hours, intended for ongoing work, are billed & due at the beginning of the month. A minimum of two (2) hours must be retained & paid to receive the discounted rate. Overage hours, billed at the discounted rate, are billed & due at the end of the month. Any unused time will be converted to a credit. You have 30 days to use this credit at the discounted rate. After 30 days, work will be billed under the non-retained terms at the full hourly rate; you have total of 6 months to use this credit or it is forfeit.
Refund Requests
You have 7 days to request a refund. If you need to cancel any of your ordered or retained hours, you must contact us within 7 days of our receipt of your payment. All work will cease, and a refund will be made for any remaining time. Time already worked is non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued after 7 days, see terms above for credit information.
Hours Over Ordered or Retained
Due to the individual nature of our services, complications, or additional requests, time over what has been prepaid may occur. We will keep you informed when an overage is occurring, and will request your approval for additional time before proceeding (unless we have prior approval). All time ordered and worked can be viewed by logging in to your ClockingIt account, all our clients are issued a login. You can also contact us directly.
What is Billable
Any time spent in communication or working on anything you have requested related to you or your business is billable; including but not limited to:
- Time on the phone with you, your clients, or vendors, or anyone else you have requested or instructed us to speak to.
- Time reading, composing or replying to emails related to you or your business.
- Time reading, or researching something specific to you or your business.
- Travel time to complete a task you have requested we preform, including travel to and from the post office or office supply store.
- Time spent creating or fixing graphics you've instructed us to work on.
- Time spent making changes to your website; content, style, graphics, links.
- Time spent downloading, editing, or uploading: recordings, files, graphics, or documents.
- Time spent editing, reading copy, or creating booklets, forms, newsletters, or documents.
- Time reconciling your accounting, or online accounts.
- Any time spent to complete a service you have requested.

Clarity. You will receive a monthly/weekly overview of work preformed, work outstanding, and a scheduled time I am available specifically to you.

If you have any question on any of these conditions please ask prior to placing an order or paying an invoice. Payment of you're invoice constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions.
*This does not apply to any retained hours credit. Retained hours credit is forfeit after 6 months.
